OMG I JUST LEARNED WHERE THE ORIGINAL VLOGBROTHERS INTRO TUNE CAME FROM
hahahahahahaha, a couple things.
- I didn’t even know I had this song, I got it along with a bunch of other stuff from my girlfriend.
- This is further proof that John and Hank Green are brilliant. The choice of their intro song is a subtle reference that could be easily overlooked and nothing is lost by passing it by, but if you understand the reference you realize that it fits perfectly.
- Listening to this song for a second time, “as our December sun is setting.” did they commission this song!? haha.
I love unexpected discoveries such as these, both unknown songs in my iTunes and connections not previously seen.

I feel like this is a song/partnership that people didn’t talk about nearly enough
and that might be because it came out a little before We Are Young and was totally/completely eclipsed by that release

Music for the scene in Doctor Who’s Christmas Special “The Snowmen” where the Doctor ‘gives in’ and presents Clara with her own TARDIS key. Towards the end of the composition, you’ll notice a rather different change of atmosphere in the music. This is where the Ice Lady grabs Clara and drags her out of the TARDIS and eventually falls off the edge of the clouds, pulling Clara down with her.Hope you enjoy it! :D

Hop on the back of my bike
Let the good wind blow through your hair
With an ass like that and a smile so bright
Oh, you’re killing me, you know it ain’t fair, yeah
Ride on through the middle of the night
Let the moonlight kiss your skin
When you dance like that, your jeans so tight
Oh, you’re killing me, baby do it again
Love.

“No no, really no, I won’t take it, please no…okay thanks.”
